To learn form the experts (blind people) how to see with my hands.

Have mentioned this idea to Sarah Tuck in CREATE. She suggested that I apply for the special Research Grant that would give me the basis of a sound piece of work.

There is also a facility to include MENTORING as part of the proposal, The could be very valuable. I have contacted Kathrine Atkinson with a view to setting up a meeting with her, so nothing will be done until then.
